Hackers make use of dev-fused iPhones models to get into its production end

Jailbreaking Apple smartphone is common nowadays where iPhone users sideload paid apps for free with some Jailbroken apps like Cydia. An investigation report from Motherboard shows how hackers learn about chips and iOS to get into the illegal way. The report shows that a dev-fused iPhone is being used to know about the process.

Dev-fused iPhones are not production-ready iPhones. This iPhone was lifted by the Hackers before production process which has some security flaws and loopholes.  These iPhones have disabled security features which make developers and researchers easy to work with. Access to pre-production iPhone is said to be easy since it is far away better for hackers to work with rather than testing in production iPhones.

But, It is not easy for dev-fused iPhones to get out of the compound. However, grey markets and other smugglers sell them for a huge amount and pave way for hackers to work on it. with the help of the Secure Enclave Processor, it is difficult for hackers to work on iPhones production model. Well, after all, it is engineering and reverse engineering is possible with all available things!
