The very popular Chinese brand Oppo spin-off Realme turns 2 today, the company enjoyed an incredible journey so far. As the company turns two years older, it shares some new achievements and facts and that includes a major achievement in the market of India.
Realme started its journey in 2018 with the launch of Realme 1 smartphone and till date, the company has launched dozens of devices including the first 5G enabled device in the market of India. Well, today the company celebrates its 2nd birthday and it has officially announced that it is the fourth-largest smartphone brand in India in Q1 this year.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, has shared that the company achieved 14% of the total market share in Q1 this year, and the brand has also sealed the fourth position behind the leader Xiaomi, Vivo at second, and the South Korean giant Samsung. Moreover, Realme also managed to obtain a huge 119% yearly growth, and the same also managed to ship 14% of all devices for February.
That’s not all, he has also shared another achievement which says that the company entered into the Top 5 ‘Hearable’ category with its Buds Air truly wireless earbuds.
