Back in last month, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi teased a prototype of its foldable phone and it gives us a decent look at the device, it seems to be pretty cool and it can able to fold from all the sides. Well, now the company releases its official statement for the upcoming foldable phone along with 3D renders.
Xiaomi’s global PR team has released a statement to LetsGoDigital, and made it clear that the Xiaomi foldable phone is officially arriving. Furthermore, the smartphone brand also claims to be the first in the world to present a double folding smartphone.
It is also said that the company seems to have taken help from a supply chain partner to develop its flexible folding screen. It was co-developed with an unnamed partner. That’s not all, the company has shared the screen tech, which is the primary aspect, the company has developed its design, folding mechanism, and MIUI integration on its own.
It seems that we are going to witness many innovative foldable devices in this year, we are hearing about the foldable smartphones from 2017 and it was started by the South Korean electronics giant Samsung. That said, the company has officially announced the unveiling of the foldable device on February 20, we are excited to see that device. But we are more excited to see the upcoming Xiaomi foldable device because it seems to be more flexible than the (leaked information) of Galaxy foldable device.
