The Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80 are the new devices from the South Korean electronics giant Samsung’ ‘A series’, and both of them are really impressive. The Galaxy A80 comes with triple rear camera setup and it has a pop-up rotating camera system, on the other hand, the Galaxy A70 comes with the regular triple camera setup.
Well, today we got the information about the pricing and availability of both the devices in the Indian market. Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, Samsung India, told IANS that the Galaxy A70 in India next week in the ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 bracket and the Galaxy A80 in the ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 bracket in May.

Samsung Galaxy A70
The smartphone sports 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device is powered by octa core Snapdragon 670 processor and paired with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM along with Adreno 506 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone has 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via micro SD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Galaxy A70 rocks triple rear cameras and that is in the combination of 32 MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123° FOV, and a 5 MP f/2.2 depth camera sensor, along with a 32 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone supports the in-display fingerprint scanner along with the traditional security features. Moreover, it also comes with the Samsung Pay, Bixby, and Night Mode.
Talking about the connectivity options, it supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A70 runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI, and ships on 4,500 mAh with 25W Fast Charging.
Samsung Galaxy A80
The device sports 6.7 inch Full HD+ Infinity U-Super AMOLED display with the 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, and that is the newly unveiled by the popular chipset makers. The device is paired by 8 GB RAM along with Adreno 618 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone has 128 GB of internal storage, sadly, there’s no option to expand the storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the device features 48 MP camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, as well as an 8 MP 123-degree ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and it also has a third 3D ToF sensor, which enables Live Focus. As I mentioned above, the Galaxy A80 features a rotating pop-up camera setup. The smartphone supports in-display fingerprint scanner for the maximum layer of security.
