On January 5, Hisense unveiled a range of mini LED and laser TV models at CES 2022.The company has expanded its U9H, U8H, U7H, U6H, A7H, A6H and A4H series with its laser TV lineup (a screen-mounted short-throw projector).
The new TVs are in the ULED, Laser TV and Entry Level Smart TV series. All offers except the A-Series models have 4K panels. The highlight is the U9H flagship model with a mini LED panel and quantum dot HDR support.
Hisense U9H TV series
For the first time, Hissens has incorporated mini LED technology into its new flagship U9H series. The Chinese company claims that the technology provides excellent HDR performance with “excellent visual acuity, bright images, and attractive colors”.
The latest model in the range comes with a 76-inch 8K ULED mini LED panel that claims to offer 2,000 nit peak brightness and 1,280 local dimming zones.
Other features included that auto low-latency mode, Quantum Dot HDR, and 4K gaming and AMD freezing support at up to 120 Hz updated in Game Mode Pro.
Hisense U8H TV series
Hisense U8H series televisions also have a ULED mini LED panel that offers a brightness of 1,500 nits. Other features of the TV include Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10 +, IMAX Enhanced Picture Quality Support and Filmmaker Mode.
Hisense U7H, U6H series TV
Hisense U7H series will be available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch sizes. TV models do not have mini LED technology, however, but feature ULED panels, quantum dot technology, AMD freezing support, 120Hz upgrade rate, and IMAX enhanced support. The Hisense U6H series is available in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models.
Hisense A6H and A4H TV series
Hisense A6H Series comes with 60Hz upgraded panels in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 70-inch models. The most affordable A4H series TVs are available in 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch TVs.
Hisense Laser TV
At CES 2022, Hissens introduced two laser TV models: the PX1-PRO trichroma laser film and the L5G 4K Smart Laser TV in two sizes.
The company claims that Hissense Laser TVs offer wide color gamut to offer remakes of original films for the home theater experience. For clarity they give a razor sharp realistic image. A laser TV contains an ultra-short-throw (UST) projector and a wall-mounted screen. The projector illuminates the screen and displays a film-like image in rich and warm colors.
Price and Availability
The Hisense U9H TV will be available later this year for $ 3,200 (approximately $ 2,38,000). Hisense U8H Series TVs will be available in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch sizes later this year at a starting price of $ 1,099 (approximately Rs. 81,800).
Customers of the Hisense U7H series will be able to buy TVs starting at $ 800 (approximately Rs. 59,500) later this year. The Hisense U6H series is available for $ 580 (approximately Rs. 43,000). All the above mentioned LED TVs come with Google TV and hands free voice control.
Hissense A7H, A6H, A4H series of smart TVs. The A7H introduces an 85-inch TV, which will be available later this year for $ 1,700 (approximately Rs. 1,26,400).
Hisense A6H TVs that come with the integrated Google Assistant are also available for a starting price of $ 300 (approximately $ 22,300). The most affordable A4H series with 32-inch, 40-inch and 43-inch TVs starts at $ 200 (approximately Rs. 14,500).
The Hisense PX1-PRO Trichroma Laser Cinema TV is priced at $ 3,999 (approximately Rs. 2,97,000), the 100-inch L5G 4K Smart Laser TV is priced at $ 4,499 (approximately Rs. 3,34,500) and the 120-inch model is priced at $ 4,999 (approximately Rs. 3,71,800).
