HMD has officially introduced a new budget phone with a familiar name from the portfolio of Nokia. The iconic Asha branded device is the latest offering by the company and the new phone is called the HMD Asha 305. The latest device comes with Android along with a 5 inch display and a 2,500mAh battery to keep the lights on. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details.

The company has introduced the device in black and lime green colour options. The device also features a 5″ LCD screen with 854×480 pixels resolution. The device also comes with a 2MP selfie camera and the back of the phone also has a 2MP main camera with an LED flash.
It has the power of the Unisoc T137 processor at its heart along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The storage can expand with a microSD card up to 128GB. The device also houses a removable 2,500mAh battery with 5W charging.
The device also comes with connectivity options including dual 4G SIMs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device runs on Pulse OS, which is based on Android. It is worth mentioning that the device doesn’t come with Google Play services or the usual Google apps pre-installed. However, the company has introduced the device with its own app store with a selection of lighter apps.
HMD hasn’t announced official global pricing and availability details but the device appears in Philippines for about 3,990 Philippine pesos.
