Human Mobile Devices (HMD) Global introduced its self branded devices dubbed the HMD Pulse series in the global market and now the company has announced the HMD Vibe. This device will be available exclusively in the market of the United States. The newly announced HMD Vibe smartphone comes with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 mobile processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expandable using a microSD card. Moreover, the HMD Vibe phone also comes with 4GB of virtual RAM.
It houses a 4,000mAh battery and it is sad to know that the device is not supporting fast charging solution as it supports only 10W wired charging. The device runs on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
The new HMD Vibe smartphone features a 6.56 inch display along with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device also comes with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen.
Speaking about the camera department, the device comes with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor along with a 5MP front-facing camera. The camera system supports HDR, AI processing, and skin tone optimization features. It also features an IP52 rating as well.
Talking about the connectivity options, the device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and 4G LTE. It supports face unlock along with the traditional security options.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has a price tag of $150 and it will be available from May in the market of US.
