We are hearing about the Honor 10 for some time, and recently the device passed through the TENAA . Well, now today Huawei’s subsidiary Honor, unveiled the Honor 10 at an event in China. This newly unveiled device is Honor’s flagship smartphone and looks similar to the Huawei P20.
Specs
The all-new Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch FullHD+ display with 2.5D curved glass atop, along with 19:9 aspect ratio, and having 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the 2.36 GHz Kirin 970 octa core processor with NPU and paired with 6 GB RAM. In terms of storage option, the device has two variants; 64/128 GB internal storage.
Moving to the camera department, the device is coming with dual camera setup with the combination of 12 megapixel RBG (f/1.8 aperture) + 24 megapixel Monochrome camera with PDAF, Ultra Snapshot, Portrait Lighting, AR Photos, Portrait Mode and LED flash. And the device also has 24 megapixel front facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture.
Talking about the connectivity, the device has Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 port, 3.5 mm headphone jack and GPS. It also features fingerprint scanner, 32-bit DAC, Huawei Histen, and aptX HD Audio.
It runs on Android Oreo v8.1 which is based on EMUI 8.1 on top, and the whole device is backed on a 3,400 mAh battery with 5V/4.5A fast charging technology.
Speaking about the colour options, the device will be available in Blue, Black, Grey, and purple.
Pricing and availability of the device
In terms of pricing, the 64 GB storage variant: is priced at ¥2599 (approx. ₹27,220), and the 128 GB storage variant: is priced at ¥9599 (approx. ₹31,410). It will be available in China from April 27, but there is no word about the availability in other parts of the world.
