Honor has officially introduced its latest Honor 300 series including the vanilla variant along with the Pro variant and the Ultra variant. Both devices feature a design that is inspired by the beauty of nature. The vanilla variant comes with a sleek, ultra-thin straight screen design, while the Pro model features a more immersive “hyperbolic” curved display on both the front and back.
The devices come with a 50MP front camera while the vanilla variant has a dual rear camera setup including a 50MP main sensor (Sony IMX906) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle macro lens. On the other hand, the latest Honor 300 Pro features a 50MP main sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle macro lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. The devices are capable to capture “SLR-level elegant portraits and both of them feature an AI light-control engine.
Both devices run on MagicOS 9.0 including AI features such as taking pictures first and focusing later, blurring the background for artistic effects, and even expanding the frame. The devices also feature high-definition dynamic photos (Live Photo).
The latest Honor 300 and 300 Pro devices come with OLED displays. The vanilla variant has a 6.7-inch screen with 2664×1200 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro variant features a 6.78-inch 2700×1224 quad-curved display. Both the devices come with 3840Hz PWM dimming, 4000nit peak brightness, 1.07 billion color displays, and various eye protection technologies.
Under the hood, the Honor 300 has the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro model comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor. The devices house a large 5300mAh battery with support for 100W charging. It is worth mentioning that the Pro variant features 80W wireless charging and WiFi 7 support as well.
