Honor has officially introduced the much awaited Honor 400 series including the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. In this article, we will be discussing about the vanilla variant. The latest Honor 400 features a 6.55-inch flat OLED display with 1264×2736 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits of peak HDR brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.
It comes with the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor along with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device also runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 and the company has promised to offer six years of Android and security updates. The device also features built-in AI features such as AI Summary, AI Subtitles, Magic Portal, and Deepfake Detection.
The device is also integrated with Google Gemini assistant and the same offers contextual assistance and productivity tools. Speaking about the camera department, the Honor 400 features a 200MP main rear camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, f/1.9 aperture, and support for OIS and EIS along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens offering a 112-degree field of view and it can capture macro photos as well. The device also comes with a 50MP front facing camera and it will enable you to record 4K videos. The camera setup of the device also supports advanced AI capabilities including AI Eraser, AI Outpainting, AI Remove Reflection, and image-to-video generation powered by Google Cloud’s Veo model.
It comes with a large 5300mAh silicon-carbon battery along with 66W wired fast charging solution. The device is rated IP65 for splash resistance and it also features stereo speakers. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3 among other traditional connectivity options.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Honor 400 is priced at £399.99 / €499 for the 12GB + 256GB model and £449 / €549 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The device will be available from May 22 in the UK.
