It was previously reported that the upcoming Honor 500 Pro will be introduced with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope lens, but now a tipster – Bald Panda states that the upcoming device will be coming with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope camera instead.
According to the source, the upcoming Honor 500 Pro’s rear camera setup will be including a 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens offering a 117-degree field of view. While the front camera was not specified but it is expected to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera based on previous reports.
The upcoming Honor 500 Pro is expected to come with a 6.55-inch display with 2736 x 1264 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a large 8000mAh silicon battery along with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The device is believed to run on the latest Android 16 with MagicOS 10.
It is expected to come with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Honor’s C1+ RF enhancement chip to improve network stability and an E2 energy efficiency chip designed to optimise battery usage.
