According to the latest information, the upcoming Honor 500 series will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8-series chips. The vanilla variant is reported to come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and it is reported that the battery capacity will be reaching “8-something” range, suggesting a battery capacity of around 8,000mAh.
Another source has said that the Honor 500 Pro will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and it is also reported that the smartphone series may support wireless charging and offer full water resistance.
Separately, the upcoming Honor 500 Pro is reported to come with a mid-sized 6.5-inch display encased in a metal frame and the device will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for biometrics.
Based on the previous reports, the Honor 500 series will feature a 6.5-inch flat OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen. The vanilla variant is expected to come with a 200-megapixel + ultra-wide dual-camera system, whereas the Pro version’s rear camera setup may include a 200-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Both phones are expected to support 100W charging and they will be running on the Android 16 operating system.
