Honor will be launching the new Honor 500 series in China very soon and now the company has officially revealed the design language of the smartphone series. The company will be offering Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro. The company has also started taking the reservations for the devices in China. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
The upcoming Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro share the same overall design language, and both devices feature a horizontal camera bar layout. While the Pro version comes with an extra circular module on the right side.
Both devices will feature a unibody cold-carved back panel and you will be getting a dedicated photo button on the side of the Pro variant.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Honor 500 series will come with a 6.55-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,320Hz PWM dimming. You will be getting a 50-megapixel selfie camera, along with a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while the Pro variant will also have a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto unit.
The vanilla variant will come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and the big brother of the smartphone series will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The devices are tipped to feature an 8,000mAh battery, with the Pro variant supporting 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Both devices will run on Android 16 with MagicOS 10 out of the box. The devices will also support dual speakers, infrared, NFC, and IP68 or IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.
