In 2016, Huawei and his sub-brand Honor was famous for there dual camera setup. Honor 8 & Huawei P9 was totally a camera centric phone because of the monochrome effect by the Dual camera setup. Now today Honor launched it’s first phone of 2017, ‘Honor 6X’. This phone is a midrange phone but with a dual camera setup. So what’s there in the phone other than dual camera ? Let’s find out.
This Honor 6X has 5.5” Full HD 1080p IPS LCD display with 401 PPI and a unibody metal design with slightly curved back. It has HiSilicon Kirin 655 octa core processor based on 16nm process clocked @ 2.1Ghz with Mali T830MP2 GPU. It comes in two storage variants, 3GB/4GB RAM & 32GB/64GB internal storage respectively with expandable storage upto 256GB. It has 3340mah battery with fast charging support. Regarding software it has Android 6.0.1 marshmallow out if the box with Honor’s Custom Emotion UI 4.1 . It has fingerprint sensor support at the back, below the rear cameras.
Now coming to the highlighting point of the phone i.e. Camera. Honor 6X has 12MP rear camera with 2MP secondary camera for the depth of field effect. The rear camera also had PDAF, dual tone LED flash, 1.25 micron pixel size the aperture size is customisable between f1.0 to f2.9 . The front facing camera is 8MP shooter.
This phone will be available in three colours that are Grey, Gold and Silver. The pricing of Honor 6X is ₹12999 for 3GB/32GB variant and ₹15999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. It will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The 3GB/32GB variant’s 1st flash sale will be at 2nd February and The 4GB/64GB variant will be available in February, date is unknown. Stay tuned with us regarding the availability of 4GB/64GB variant. There are some launch offers for Honor 6X as well.
