Honor was expected to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone series dubbed the Honor Magic 8 series in the month of November this year. According to the latest information, the smartphone series will be announced in the markets of China in mid October. The source did not reveal the exact launch date of the smartphone series.
It is reported that the upcoming Honor Magic 8 series will include the vanilla variant along with 8 Pro, 8 Mini, and a high-end Magic 8 Ultra. The Other models will be official in mid October but the Ultra variant is expected to be announced in early 2026.
Based on the previous reports, the Magic 8 and 8 Pro will feature OLED displays measuring around 6.6 and 6.7 inches, respectively. The devices will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile processor along with wireless charging and ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanners. It is also expected that the Magic 8 Pro is expected to house a 7000mAh battery along with 90W wired charging.
While the Magic 8 Mini is expected to come with the power of the Dimensity 9500 mobile processor along with a 6.3-inch screen and a slimmer overall design. The Ultra variant is expected to come with dual 200-megapixel cameras, one for the main sensor and another for a periscope telephoto lens. The device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile processor.
