The device comes with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and it is said they to be the world’s slimmest horizontal folding phone. The latest Honor Magic V3 is lighter than its predecessor and the latest device is rated to last 500,000 fold cycle. The Honor Magic V3 features an octagonal-shaped protruding camera module on the back and the power button of the device doubles up as an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The device also features a 7-series aluminium alloy frame and the device is IPX8 certified.
Speaking about the specifications, the latest Honor Magic V3 comes with a 6.43-inch main screen with curved edges along with an FHD+ resolution, the internal display has a 7.92-inch display along with 2,344 x 2,156 pixels resolution. Both screens feature a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and support stylus. The device is said to offer 5,000 nits peak brightness as well.
Coming to the photography department, the new Honor Magic V3 comes with a 50MP 1/1.56-inch main sensor with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with support for 100x digital zoom and OIS. The device also features a 20MP sensor housed inside the internal and external screens.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic V3 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The device also features a titanium heat dissipation system internally. It also comes with a large 5,150mAh battery along with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The folding phone runs on Android 14 with MagicOS 8 out of the box. The device also supports AI features along with smart private call, parallel space, and more.
The Honor Magic V3 also supports two-way satellite communication that lets you send texts over satellite when there is no cellular network. The device also features an RF enhancement chip for boosting the network and a security chipset.
