The HONOR Life launch event in China On September 26, the brand announced three laptops. which is include HONOR MagicBook 16 , HONOR MagicBook 16 Pro and HONOR MagicBook V 14.The V14, the high-end flagship model in Honor’s laptop range, is the first two focus on providing a lighter experience.The new Honor Magicbook Pro 16 gets a significant upgrade over its predecessor.
The two models in the HONOR MagicBook 16 series are almost identical. The only major difference between the two is the presence of a dedicated GPU in the Pro variant.
As their name suggests, both have a 16.1-inch IPS LCD panel with 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD), 137 PPI, 144Hz upgrade rate and 1000: 1 contrast ratio. This matte screen has a 16: 9 aspect ratio, 170 view angle and 87.3% screen-to-body aspect ratio. TÜV Rheinland-certified display supports 100% sRGB color gamut and 300 nits brightness.
The new MagicBook 16 Series pack can be configured with 144Hz upgrade LCDs, AMD Raison 7 5800H processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. The 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD I / O include 2xUSB-C 3.2, 2xUSB-A 3.2, an HDMI 2.0 port, a headphone jack and a mic combo. The software side includes the Windows 10 home version. The battery of both comes to 56Wh and you get a bundled 65W USB-C charger.
Price and availability
The MagicBook 16 starts at CNY 5,199 ($ 805) while the Pro goes at CNY 6,199 ($ 960). Both laptops are already available in China. International availability has not yet been explained.
