HTC 5G Hub Unveiled At MWC 2019

The MWC 2019 event is delivering lots of 5G products and now HTC has added yet another product which is called HTC 5G Hub, and it is a really super product because it doubles as a 5G hotspot, it can able to stream content, and it also allows users to charge their devices.

The device sports a 5 inch display with 1280 X 720 pixels resolution, it is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be expand upto 512 GB via microSD card.

Users can able to plug and play the device as an entertainment hub and it will stream online contents from various applications. Moreover, the device can also be connected to the television. It also supports voice commands and the company claims that it is also ideal for gaming and it allows users to stream 4K resolution contents and 60 FPS frame rate.

In terms of connectivity, the HTC 5G Hub supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ad, and a Nano-SIM slot is there for 4G and 5G connectivity. It also comes with a USB Type-C Gen 3.1 port with DisplayPort support and also comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port, and also features a dual speaker setup. The device runs on Android Pie and ships on a 7,660 mAh battery.

Furthermore, the HTC 5G Hub also allows being used for office work as it allows up to 20 people to connect to a single network and also facilitates the addition of a corporate VPN layer. The company has also revealed that in the foreseeable future, the device will allow users to wirelessly stream VR content from the cloud to their Vive VR headset.

Speaking about the pricing and availability, the company is yet to reveal the price of the HTC 5G Hub, which is expected to become available in Q2 2019 in the US, Australia, and certain European nations, with Sprint, Telstra, Three UK, Deutsche Telekom, Sunrise, and Elisa.
