A couple of days ago, we came through a render which provided a fair idea about the specification details along with the launching date of HTC U11 EYEs and it was leaked by the popular leakster Evan Blass. Well, he is again right as today the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC unveiled yet another smartphone in its U-series- HTC U11 EYEs.
The HTC U11 EYEs is the first device from the HTC in this year, and the smartphone is falling in midrange category. Moreover, the device has little bezels at top and bottom of the device. The device comes with 6 inch Full HD+ Super LCD3 display, along with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio (which means the device has FullScreen display) and protected by Gorilla Glass 2, and having 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution.
It is powered by octa core Snapdragon 652 processor and the device is paired with 4 GB RAM, along with Adreno 510 for graphical task. Speaking about the storage, it has 64 GB internal storage and if it’s not enough for you, then it can be expandable upto 2 TB via microSD card.
Moving to the camera department of the device, it has dual front facing camera. The device has 5 megapixel + 5 megapixel camera with Beauty Mode, Bokeh effect and screen flash. And speaking about the rear camera, it has 12 megapixel with UltraPixel 3 with f/1.7 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, OIS, UltraSpeed Auto-Focus, Manual Control, RAW Mode, 1080p Slow-Mo at 120 fps and LED flash.
The device has dual Hybrid SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity, NFC, USB Type-C. The device also IP67 dust and water resistance, Edge Sense, USonic, and Face Recognition. The device also supports a fingerprint scanner to give an extra security for you. It runs on Android Nougat which is based on HTC Sense, and the device is backed on 3,930 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Speaking about colour choices, the device will be available in Red, Black and Silver.
Pricing and availability of the device:
- The device is priced at NT$ 14,900 in Taiwan (approx. ₹32,020).
- It can be pre-ordered from HTC’s e-Store.
- Shipping of the device will start from February 1 in Taiwan and China.
- No information on the availability in other parts of the world.
