HTC has launched a new device called HTC U12 Life, and with this device, the company tries to attract the users who love to buy a mid-range smartphone. So, let’s check out the specs, pricing, availability of the device.
Design of HTC U12 Life
The device sports dual-finish design and top of the smartphone has acrylic glass, and, the bottom side of the device has “soft, subtle stripes”. and the company calls this “Dual Tone Liquid Surface” design. That said, the device will be available in two color options – Moonlight Blue and Twilight Purple.
Specification of HTC U12 Life
The HTC U12 Life sports 6 inch Full HD+ display along with 18:9 aspect ratio and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by octa core Snapdragon 636 processor and coupled with 4 GB of RAM, along with Adreno 509 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone has 64 GB of internal storage and can be expandable via microSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the device has a dual camera setup at the back and it is in the combination of 16 megapixel + 5 megapixel with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, HDR, Bokeh Mode, 4K video recording and dual LED flash. The smartphone also has a 13 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, HDR, Beauty Mode and LED flash. Moreover, the device also has a fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
For connectivity, the HTC U12 Life supports 4GLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. The smartphone boots on Android Oreo 8.1 which is based on HTC Sense, and the device is backed on a 3,600 mAh battery with 10W (5V/2A) charging.
Pricing and availability of HTC U12 Life
The device has the price tag of £299 (approx. ₹27,522), and it will available in Europe, Asia and Middle-East in late September.
