As it was said earlier, today the Taiwanese smartphone brand HTC has expanded its portfolio with the launch of new devices and both of them are meant for the users who love to purchase mid-range smartphones. The newly unveiled devices are called HTC U19e and HTC Desire 19+. Let’s check out the complete specification details along with pricing and availability.

The smartphone sports a 6 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2160 X 1080 pixels resolution along with an 18:9 aspect ratio, it also supports HDR10 and comes with the protection of Gorilla Glass. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and paired with 6 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 128 GB of internal storage.

Moving to the photography department, the HTC U19e rocks dual cameras on both the front as well as a rear side. At the rear, it sports a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 20MP telephoto sensor with f/2.6 aperture. Up front, it includes a 24MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP sensor. The smartphone supports the fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB-C 3.1 port. The company has ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the device comes with HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi dual speakers with stereo surround sound effect. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with HTC Sense UI atop, and the smartphone is backed on a 3,930 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charge technology.

It features a 6.2 inch HD+ display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution along with 19:9 aspect ratio and there’s a notch on the top of the display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz octa core MediaTek Helio P35 and paired with 4/6 GB RAM along with 64/128 GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the smartphone features triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of 13MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone sports a 16MP single camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone also features the fingerprint scanner and face unlock for the additional layer of security.

Talking about the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The company has ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the device comes with HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi dual speakers with stereo surround sound effect. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with HTC Sense UI atop, and the smartphone is backed on a 3,850 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charge technology.

Pricing and availability

The HTC U19e is priced at TWD 14,900 (approx ₹33,000) and it will be available from tomorrow. While the HTC Desire U19+ has the price tag of TWD 9,990 for 4GB RAM variant (approx ₹22,000) and the 6GB RAM will cost TWD 10,990 (approx ₹24,500). And there is no information about the availability of the devices in other parts of the world.
