Huawei has announced a new ISP at the China Security Expo. It’s called the HiSilicon Yueying ISP Engine, which is powered by Artificial Intelligence, and will power a new generation of smart IoT (Internet of Things) products.
In other words, it is an intelligent image processing engine that will soon be available in new smart products. The AI ​​in the new ISP engine is deeply integrated to ensure image quality, while setting a new standard for AI powered imaging.
It will enable improvements to the best and clearest picture quality in all scenes. HiSilicon has demonstrated the capabilities of the new ISP in numerous tests, highlighting its supersensitivity noise reduction , Which earns users deeper to intelligently sharpen images in very low light scenes. It was displayed in a dark room where objects and their overall appearance could not even be accurately identified.
The HiSilicon Yueying ISP engine is made up of an NPU (Neural Network Processing Unit) and a VPU (Vector Processing Unit), both of which combine closely with each other to better complement different functions while offering end-to-end AI solutions.
