Huawei has added two more devices to its portfolio with the launch of MateBook 13s and 14s. The notebooks offer a number of new additions, including a sharp metal body that weighs in at 1.32kg and 1.43kg. Available in three shades, the notebooks will go on sale for the first time on September 25.
These laptops check all the boxes in terms of performance, as they are powered by Intel’s high-performance 11th-gen processors and an upgraded shark fin cooling system. Large screens with 2520 x 1680 resolution, upgrade rate up to 90Hz, support for 1.07 billion colors, 100% sRGB, 60Wh battery, up to 13 hours battery life, support for fast charging with 3 hours screen and 15 minutes charge are the main highlights of these new machines.
The Huawei Matebook 13 and 14 offer an excellent camera that supports face unlocking and Huawei self-developed fully automatic laser welding technology. At 90% screen-to-body ratio, users get a really in-depth experience.
Huawei has also enhanced the sound department with Huawei Sound enabled stereo, open silent space calls, voice recognition and filtering, and new smart voice options.
Aside from the major hardware upgrade, support for Huawei’s mobile applications, which for the first time bridged the gap between the PC app ecosystem and the mobile app ecosystem, is even more exciting. It opens a window for users to enjoy the productivity of Windows and Huawei’s rich mobile application ecosystem on PC. It comes as a public test program for the Huawei mobile application engine, and is open to older models, with the first batch available on September 25 and the second on October 25.
