Over the past few months, we got some leaks and rumors of Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. Both these smartphones are Huawei’s flagship phone of 2017. From the beginning the company is very confident about both these devices, they even said that both devices will be better than Apple’s 2017 iPhone. Now today finally they unveiled the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. So let’s have a look at the specs of both these phones.
- Huawei Mate 10:
First let’s talk about the lower end devices between both flagships i.e. Huawei Mate 10. As the company already confirmed that this phone will come with latest Kirin 970 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4Ghz coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. This is a processor which has different algorithms for artificial intelligence and it will give a new experience of AI, as said by the company. This device sports a 5.9” Quad HD 2560×1440 IPS LCD display with regular 16:9 aspect ratio but with almost bezel-less. This is an HDR+ display. It has just 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expandable storage via MicroSD Card slot.Talking about the camera, it has Leica powered 12MP Coloured + 20MP Black & White Dual Rear Camera Setup with

It sports a 6” Full HD+ bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is HDR+ supported and has 112% NTSC colour gamut. It has 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage that can be expandable via MicroSd Card slot. There’s a Porsche edition too which has different design and 256GB of internal storage.Talking about the camera, it has Leica powered 12MP Coloured + 20MP Black & White Dual Rear Camera Setup with f1.6 lens, OIS, 2x lossless zoom, PDAF, laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash. But to get better IP rating or maybe for other reason, this Mate 10 Pro don’t have 3.5mm headphone jack.

Below are the details on pricing and availability of both Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro:
- Huawei Mate 10 is priced at €699.
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro is priced at €799.
- Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Edition is priced at €1395.
- Huawei Mate 10 is going to be available later this month.
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Edition is going to be available at mid-November at a number of countries.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, I liked the Huawei Mate 10 Pro more than regular Mate 10, as the Pro variant has the latest on-trend 18:9 aspect ration with less bezels. It’s nice to see that Huawei gave a huge 4000mAh battery with fast charging to their flagship smartphone. Usually, OEMs don’t give this much big battery in their flagships to maintain the design.
