We just updated that the Chinese smartphone brand Huawei will launch in the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro at an event on October 16. That said, both the devices will be powered by the latest and greatest Kirin 980. However, today the company unveiled a smartphone under the Mate 20 series, and that is the Huawei Mate 20 Lite.

The all new Huawei Mate 20 Lite sports a glass-metal construction and both the sides of the smartphone are covered with curved glass. That said, the frames of the smartphone are made out of metal.

The device comes with 6.3-inch full-HD+ display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Moreover, the device follows the trend of the notch. The device is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor and paired with 4 GB of RAM along with Mali-G51 GPU. In terms of storage, the device has 64 GB of internal storage and it can be expandable up to 512 GB microSD card.
Speaking about the photography department, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite has a Quad Cameras which means two cameras on the front, and two cameras on the back. That said, the rear cameras are in the combination of 20 Megapixel + 2 megapixel with AI-based scene recognition, AI-powered Bokeh Mode, and, 480 FPS slow-motion video recording, and the front cameras are in the combination of 24 megapixel + 2 megapixel with AI-based scene recognition, HDR Pro support, Studio Lighting and 3D Qmoji.
Moreover, the device also has the features like AI Shopping Assistant, AI Smart Gallery, and AI Noise Cancellation. That said, the AI Noise Cancellation is a unique feature and the feature will put the call on hold, when the network is weak and it reconnects the call once the network is back. Apart from this, for connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.
Furthermore, the smartphone supports the fingerprint scanner, as well as the face unlock for the additional layer of security. The Mate 20 Lite boots on Android Oreo 8.1 which is based on EMUI 8.2. Finally, the smartphone is backed on 3,750 mAh with 9V/2A Charging.
Pricing and availability of Huawei Mate 20 Lite
The device has the price tag of £379 (approx. ₹34,812), and the device will be available in UK through Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone from September 5. There is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
