Well, today we got a new piece of information which reveals the official announcement date of the upcoming Mate series. According to the source, the company will unveil the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro in Europe on September 19 and the smartphones will be powered by Kirin 990 chipset. Having said that, the new chipset is also believed to have a 5G modem built-in, but we don’t have much information.
Speaking about the specification details of the Mate 30 Pro, it is believed to feature a 6.7-inch with 90Hz, and has BOE-made AMOLED display. The smartphone is supposed to support 55W charging technology, it will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. Rumors also say the Mate 30 Pro will have two massive 40MP sensors on the back, as part of a circular camera module. And the P30 will share the majority of specifications.
Furthermore, Dr. Wang also hinted that the upcoming Mate 30 family will not ship with Google Play Services pre-installed, which means the upcoming devices will come with the in-house HarmonyOS.
