Just a couple of weeks ago, the Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei unveiled it’s Mate 30 series and today we got a new piece of information which suggests that the company is already started working on a successor. Yes, the company is working on the Huawei Mate 40 series and it will be powered by the next generation in-house processor.
According to a new report, the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series smartphones will be powered by the Kirin 1000 SoC, and the company will unveil it in next year. The next-generation Kirin 1000 SoC will be manufactured using the 5nm process node and the report also claims that the trial production of the processor has already started.
Having said that, the processor is expected to come with the built-in 5G modem, the processor is also expected to offer better battery life and consume less power.
Right now, nothing more is available about the next generation processor but we expected to hear more about the same in the coming months and we hope that the company will unveil the new processor by the second quarter of next year.
