The newly announced Huawei Mate X3 features a 7.8 inch foldable OLED LTPO display along with 2496 x 2224 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also coming with up to 300Hz touch sampling rate along with a 1440Hz PWM dimming, 426 ppi pixel density, and a maximum brightness of up to 1000 nits.

The device is also having a 6.4 inch outer OLED display along with 2504 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also features 10-bit colors, P3 wide color gamut, and a 1440Hz PWM dimming. The device is also having a punch-hole set up on the top of the screen and the same is available in the inner screen at the upper-right corner. The external display features Kunlun glass protection.
The latest Huawei Mate X3 features a new and advanced double-rotation water-drop hinge design and it can open and close seamlessly. It is also said to be durable and the latest hinge incorporates the industry’s strongest 700Mpa wing aluminium to provide increased folding reliability as well.
Huawei Mate X3 is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset along with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. It is housing a 4,800mAh battery along with 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging. The device is also having a Collector Edition variant and the same offers 1TB of storage. It is housing a massive 5,060mAh battery and the device is running on HarmonyOS 3.1 out of the box. The device features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Huawei Mate X3 features an 8-megapixel selfie camera while the back panel of the device is having a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel periscope zoom camera with OIS support. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 4G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, satellite connectivity, and a USB-C port. It is also coming with dual speakers as well and the device is having IPX8-rated water resistance.
In terms of pricing and availability, the pricing of the device starts at 12,999 Yuan and it will be available in the market of China from April 7.
