So we are in the middle of MWC 2018 event, and the launches are not stopping at all. Talking about launches, Huawei is one player who is not launching any smartphone at the event. But wait, is doesn’t mean that they are not launching anything. Instead of smartphones, they are interested in some other fields. Well today, they launched their new flagship notebook of 2018 i.e. Huawei Matebook X Pro. It’s the successor of last year’s Matebook X. So what’s new in this notebook? Let’s have a look.
This is a 13.9 inch notebook with the resolution of 3000×2000 i.e. 3k. It’s a Full View bezel-less display with 91% screen to body ratio. This display has 450 nits of brightness level, 100% sRGB colour gamut, 260 PPI and 1500:1 contrast ratio. So this display seems like a very crisp and vivid display. It has 65W fast charging support which is claimed to charge the device real quick. The placement of front camera on this notebook is quite interesting. It is present inside the F5 key, and it will pop-up when required. See the image below for better understanding. It seems very unique and privacy ensured feature. It has Quad speaker system which is actually a Dolby Atmos sound system. This notebook weights at just 1.33kg and is 14.6mm thin. Regarding connectivity options, it has 2 Type-C Ports, 1 USB-A Port, and a 3.5mm headphone hack. The USB-A Port has the support for USB 3.0 and 1 of the Type-C Port has Thunderbolt 3 support.
