The Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei is gearing up to launch its new two-in-one tablet dubbed the Huawei MatePad Edge and the device will be official on November 25. It is already reported to come with the power of a Kirin 9-series PC chip and up to 24GB of RAM. Now more details of the upcoming device appear online which reveals more details. The upcoming Huawei MatePad Edge will be coming with around a large 14.2-inch display with 3120 × 2080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to feature an impressive 94% screen-to-body ratio.
The Huawei MatePad Edge also features a 50MP main lens along with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The device will also feature a 32MP selfie camera tucked into an ultra-small module with no visible notch.
The device will be running on the HarmonyOS and it supports over 300,000 native apps along with 13,000 Windows apps through compatibility layers. Which is reported that the device will be booting directly into a Windows environment, supports DirectX 11, and offers features like HarmonyOS screen projection, Windows expansion mode, and the ability to place Windows app shortcuts directly on the HarmonyOS home screen.
The Huawei MatePad Edge is reportedly capable to run titles including Warcraft and Red Alert 2 smoothly. The device is expected to come with a massive 12,800mAh battery along with 140W fast charging.
