The Chinese electronic giant Huawei unveiled brand new monitors suitable for gamers and professionals last month in China. Now the brand has announced that it is bringing these monitors to the international markets. These monitors from Huawei are called MateView and MateView GT and these models will make their debut in multiple countries across the globe.
Huawei MateView Monitor
It features a 28.2-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,560 pixels along with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display has a maximum brightness of 600 nits and supports HDR400. The monitor settles for a 60Hz refresh rate but offers a 1200:1 aspect ratio. It covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space and 100% of the sRGB colour palette.
Huawei MateView GT Monitor
The MateView GT model is designed with gamers in mind. It sports a huge 34-inch curved display that has a maximum brightness of 350 nits. The monitor has support for both 21:9 and 4000:1 aspect ratio. It features a display resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels along with a whopping 165Hz refresh rate. To enhance the gaming experience it comes with features such as Crosshairs and Dark Field Control which helps to spot the enemy in shooting games quickly.
In order to facilitate long gaming sessions, the company has bagged TÜV Rheinland Eye Care Certification as well. It covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and 121% of sRGB colour space. There is a set of two 2.5W speakers attached at the base of the monitor and dual mics.
The stand support doubles up as the speaker and it is fitted with RGB lighting and touch-based volume control. Speaking of connectivity, it includes DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one USB Type-C port for data transfer and another for power.
The Huawei MateView GT Monitor will be available in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, the Nordics, Russia, Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and other regions.
