The Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei has been working on HarmonyOS-based laptops for a while now, we got a new piece of information that suggests the timeline for the new laptop of the company may have been pushed back.
It is also reported that Huawei is currently working on its own PC processor and a report from last year suggested that the company will bring the Kirin PC chip in early 2025.
The new Kirin chip for PCs is called the Kirin X90 and it is now surfaced on China’s Information Security Evaluation Center. The listing does not offer much information about the processor but it is expected to be built on SMIC’s 7nm process.
