The Chinese electronics manufacturer Huawei has taken wraps off its new ultra-high-power SuperCharger with a charging speed of a whopping 135W. This charger is designed with Huawei smartphones and notebooks in mind and features a USB Type-C port for output.
The SuperCharger sports a square-shaped design and has a white colour scheme. It comes with a built-in cable and the adapter itself has a split-pin structure that will let the user change plugin pins with ease. However, the company did not make it foldable by design but has made sure it supports a high current transmission up to 6.75A. It gets a TPE sheath to protect from overheating and other external factors.
The Huawei 135W Charger will represent the SuperCharge Ecosystem of the company and comes with Huawei branding and an indication that it will support charging both notebooks and smartphones. The wattage rating supported by the Huawei 135W Charger includes 1V/6A (66W) and 10V/4A (44W).
The cable that comes with the charging brick is 1.8 metres long. The standard charging protocol it supports is PD, DCP, QC2.0, QC4, FCP, SCP and so on. We might also see a similar charger with the same technology debut from Honor bearing the model number – HN-200675CP0 and has currently popped up on the 3C certification website.
