Huawei has introduced the Smart Door Lock Pro. Through this Huawei has further expanded their Homegrown Harmony OS ecosystem. The new Smart Door Lock runs on Harmony OS, which adds extra security features to the device.
The Smart Door Lock Pro can recognize 3D faces, and its AI architecture ensures self-study and improves face recognition over time. The Smart Door Lock Pro evaluates the person standing at the door and unlocks the door in a matter of seconds.
According to Huawei, a person who should not have access to it has very little chance of unlocking the door. This probability is 1 in 1 million. Harmony OS allows you to integrate the Smart Door Lock Pro with other smart home devices.
It has a P50 Pro camera that can detect objects within a 150 degree viewing angle.This device works for people between 3.4 feet and 6.6 feet. It can work in both light and dark conditions.
The new smart door lock has a 3.97-inch display that enables the owner to see people at the door in addition to video notifications and connected mobile devices.
The Huawei Smart Door Lock Pro has several door unlock options, including automatic, fingerprint, smartphone or smartwatch, password, NFC card, and a physical key. It’s 8,800 mAh dual cell lithium battery offers up to 6 months of daily use of the device.
Although listed on Huawei Smart Door Lock Pro vmall, Huawei has not yet released the price and availability. We expect the device to arrive in China first before it will be available later to other markets.
