Huawei Watch 4 is officially announced by the Chinese telecommunication giant and it is having a groundbreaking feature that the company introduced before Apple. The new device of the company is coming with the capability to monitor blood sugar of a user and the same is a significant advancement in wearable health technology.
Individuals living with diabetes only know the difficulties to maintain their sugar level and they need to depend on glucometers and lancets to get the information related to their sugar level and they need to prick their fingers which is very painful as well. But Huawei is having a solution that will enable you to monitor your blood sugar level without any pain and any other equipment.
As the newly announced Huawei Watch 4 is offering a blood sugar monitoring capability and that will enable you to monitor your blood sugar level but the device is not having on-demand blood sugar readings, the device can offer timely alerts. The company tested over 800,000 blood sugar data points over 100,000 hours to make the new technology ready. The device is also capable to monitor heart rate, pulse wave characteristics, and other key indicators to assess the risk of hyperglycemia.
The device is also coming with a circular display which features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display and it is running on the HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system. It is also supporting blood oxygen readings and electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis.
It is capable to offer up to three days of battery life and is water-resistant up to 5ATM. The 46mm model will have a starting price of 2,899 Yuan while the starting price of 48mm Pro variant is 3,399 Yuan. The device will be available in China from May 30.
