The Huawei announced a range of products in HUAWEI P50 Pocket launch event. One of the highlights is the HUAWEI Watch GT 2022 Collector’s Edition.
This is a customized version of the HUAWEI Watch GT 3. It is themed after the Year of the Tiger with premium materials. This model uses carbon fiber front casing instead of stainless steel case. The mantle is marked with stripes that mimic the skin of a tiger.The titanium bezel that runs around the casing has patterns that mimic tiger teeth. Even on the crown, the tiger’s head is embedded.
Not only this, the smartwatch uses sapphire glass for its display instead of the usual tempered glass. Also, the back of the wearable trench is plastic for ceramic. To match the customized exterior, the watch is shipped with a new watch face and an AOD dial featuring the tiger’s head.It comes with a fluoro-rubber strap in two colors, red and black .
In addition to the above differences, based on the specifications, the smartwatch is a HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 46 mm. However, its dial size is more than 49mm.
Price and availability
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 2022 Collector Edition is priced at 3,688 ($ 579) in China. It is sent in a customised gift box. The 46mm variant of the model starts at ¥ 1,588 ($ 249). Interested customers can pre-order from 6:08 pm (local time) today. It will go on sale on January 6, 2022 at 12 AM.
