Huawei Watch GT2 Pro Moon Face Collection launched in India

Huawei is interested in expanding its smart watch portfolio in India and has now launched the Huawei Watch GT2 Pro Moon Face Collection. The collection is available in two variants, Sports and Classic.  The watches are basically an update to the Huawei Watch GT2 Pro announced by Huawei in September 2020.  It is not intended to replace existing models, but to expand the options available to buyers.

The sports and classic variants are Flipkart-exclusive.  The sale will start on September 18 but those who pre-order from 14 to 18 will get offers like 10% cashback and no cost EMI.

The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro Moon Face Sports will be priced at Rs 22,990 ($ 312) while the Classic variant will be priced at Rs 24,990 ($ 339).

In terms of features, the smartwatch is paired with a premium sapphire glass watch dial, titanium body and ceramic rear-case.  More than 200 watch faces are offered to choose from.  Huawei claims that these devices have an excellent battery life of 2 weeks on a single charge.  Smart watches have a number of sports modes, including a personalized golf coach.

The high-end design of the Watch GT2 Pro Moon Phase Collection is complemented by a Mon Phase feature that gives users unique watch phases that can be viewed as the various phases of the moon change from it. Users can choose different layouts that show tides, constellations, and more.

Other features include a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixel resolution, Kirin A1 + STL4R9 processor, 52g weight without strap, 5 ATM water resistances and 4 GB storage.  The watch comes with all kinds of sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate scanner and air pressure sensor.  All of this is controlled by the Huawei Lite OS on the software end.
