Since the search engine giant, Google launched the Android Go operating system in last year, we have already seen numerous devices with the power of Android Go. Well, now the Chinese electronics giant Huawei has confirmed that they will unveil their Android Go powered smartphone in the portfolio of Y-Series 2018.
Having said that, early in this year the company confirmed that they are developing the Android Go device and it will be in reality by the half of this year. Now the company has confirmed (to Android Authority) that the device to be launched in the Y-Series 2018, and it will be in reality in May but it will start from South Africa.
As we know Android Go devices are targeted to the low-end smartphones, or in other words, the operating system is designed for the entry-level Android Smartphones which have 1 GB RAM or less. The operating system is the lighter version of Android Oreo, and the OS also has all the Lite version of the popular applications.
So, let’s wait for official launch of the Android (Go edition) smartphone from the Huawei.
