The Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei is developing its own operating system and the company was in the mood to replace Android, after facing the ban. But the company dropped its plan, as the United States lifted the ban. The company further said that its self developed Hongmeng OS will power the IoT products.
However, now we got a new piece of information which suggests that the company is now testing a smartphone with in-house Hongmeng operating system. Furthermore, the report also suggests that the smartphone will be priced at around CNY 2,000.
As of now, there’s no more information about the same. We are looking forward to hear more about the smartphone in the coming days. We guess the company may test its own operating system with low-end specifications, let’s wait and see.
