A startup based in Kerala – Netrasemi, is backed by the popular tech company of the country, dubbed Zoho. The startup company has launched its first Edge AI System-on-Chip (SoC) called A2000, and it has also been confirmed that the customer trials have already started.
Speaking about the new A2000 processor, it is built on TSMC’s 12nm process and it is designed for smart cameras, drones, robots, CCTV systems and industrial automation.
The processor is capable of running AI tasks directly on the device instead of depending on the cloud along with the support of real-time video analysis and computer vision. It is built for high performance while keeping power consumption low
It is also revealed that the latest processor has already completed testing and the new processor is now production-ready as well.
