Realme was enjoying the title of having the world’s fastest charging solution and the same is 240W charging technology but now it is history as Infinix has introduced the faster charging solution in the world dubbed the new 260W wired and 110W wireless charging technology. It is also confirmed that the new charging solution will be available in its upcoming Infinix Note smartphone which will be announced later this year.
Infinix says that its new 260W wired charging solution is capable to provide battery capacity from 0 to 25% in only one minute and the charging solution can offer 100% of battery in just 8 minutes.
The newly introduced charging technology is having a single 12C battery with a 4-pump circuit design and the same is capable to identify power requirements as well as allocate the number of charge pumps. It is also said that the charging solution is 98.5% efficient and the company used a 4,400 mAh battery while testing and the same was able to retain 90% of its initial capacity after 1,000 cycles.
The adaptor of the new charging solution is having both GaN material and AHB circuit infrastructure and the same is capable to achieve high power density as well as small size. The cable of the adaptor is also custom-made.
Infinix has also introduced the 110W wireless charging solution and it is the fastest in the industry as well. As we normally see wireless charging with up to 50W. The new wireless charging technology using custom-made, small, sensitive coils with varying architectures. It is having fewer but wider coils and the same will offer less heat.
Infinix is also offering the support for reverse charging, bypass charging, and multi-protocol charging. It is compatible with other protocols, including Power Delivery 3.0.
