It is reported that the upcoming Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone will come with a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 1500Hz. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The device is reported to come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 256GB or 512GB internal storage options, both will be using UFS 3.1 technology.
The device will be housing a large 5,000mAh battery along with 45W wired, 20W wireless, and even 10W reverse wired charging. The device is reported to feature a 108MP ISOCELL HM6 main sensor with both Optical (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization support (EIS) along with a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, the device will also feature a quad-LED flash. It will also come with a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor at the front with dual flash and EIS. Both the back and front cameras of the device are capable to capture 4K videos at 60 fps. It will be integrated with GoPro devices as well.
It is also said that the upcoming Infinix Zero 40 5G runs the latest Android 14 with Infinix’s XOS 14.5 on top. The device is also said to feature an IP54 rating. Regarding the connectivity options, the device will support WiFi 6E, 5G, and NFC among others. The device is said to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner, and the device with also come with JBL-tuned dual speakers.

The upcoming Infinix Zero 40 4G variant will also come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come with the power of the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The device will not support wireless charging capability.
Pricing and availability
It is reported that the Zero 40 4G variant will come with a price tag of USD 279 while the 5G variant will retail for USD 399.
