Instagram now allows third-party application for two-factor authentication along with a function which lets users request for verified accounts within the Instagram app.
Instagram has been testing this feature since last month. Now Instagram has rolled out two-factor authentication with support to third-party applications. To use this feature, open the settings menu and then tap on ‘Two-Factor Authentication’. After that, select ‘Authentication App’ as the preferred form of authentication.
This will automatically receive the security code if you already have a third-party authentication app installed on your smartphone. If now, Instagram redirects you to play store to download any third party authentication app.
Also, Instagram has announced a new too to know more about largely populated Instagram account. About this account tool will help in verifying the authenticity of famous Instagram peoples.
