The most popular social networking app Instagram continuously getting new features, and back in last month, we updated that the developers of the Instagram are now testing a feature which will provide portrait mode in the Stores section of the app. Well, now today Instagram officially announces the feature and it is called Focus.
These days smartphones are coming with a new feature in the camera which is called The Portrait Mode or the bokeh effect, which provides images with blurred background. And till now, users who have this feature in their device need to capture images and then upload the images to the Instagram. But with the new Instagram Focus features, you don’t need to do this as now you can capture portrait mode images within the Instagram.
How to use the feature
To enjoy the latest Focus feature, open the Instagram camera and select the Focus. Once you are in the Focus mode, and the shot is set up then you will notice that the background is automatically getting blurred.
Then tap on the screen to capture the image on tap and hold to record a video, then add filters and do the needful customization by adding text or stickers then post it in your field or in the Story.
The feature will be available in the version 39.0 and it is started to roll out to the Android users, and if you didn’t get the latest update then wait for sometime it will hit on your device soon.
