The broadcast channels only enabled members to react to the messages posted on the channel and now it has been changed with a new features. Instagram has introduced the new replies feature and the same will enable followers to engage with the messages of a creator and this will create a strong relationship with creators and followers.
Instagram will be showing the replies within your messages and creators can also delete and the report the comment similar to normal Instagram comments. The feature can be turned on by going to the controls of a channel and enable the allow members to reply to messages option.
The Prompts will enable creators to kickstart conversations in your channel with Q&As and daily check-ins. It will also enable creators to choose the prompts from suggested topics or create a custom prompt. This will allow the members to respond with text or photos for up to 24 hours and like their favourite responses.The replies to prompt responses by creators will be available on the main channel and the same can be enabled by going to Channel, tapping the “+” icon, and selecting the “Prompt” option.
