The world’s most favourite social media application Instagram having the swipe-up feature on the board for a long time and the same enables users to visit external websites or businesses directly from a Story.
But the developers of Instagram were testing a new feature which is dubbed as Link Stickers and the same feature is testing on the board since June this year.
Now the company has officially confirmed that the swipe-up feature will be killed later this week and the developers of Instagram will replace it with Link Stickers.
Instagram will not allow users to use the swipe-up feature after August 30 and then, users can able to use Link Stickers on this Story and the sticker will enable users to add a link to the external website.
Having said that, the swipe-up feature was available for the verified users or the users who have more than 10,000 followers but it is expected that the upcoming Link Stickers will be available to all the users of the platform.
