The Facebook owned Instagram continuously rolling out in new features to give an awesome experience to its users, and now the developers of world’s most favourite photo and video sharing application launched the lite version of the application.
The lite version of the application is meant for the low-end devices and it also consumes less data, the company has launched the app on Google Play Store and even without making any announcement. The Instagram Lite is just 573 kilobytes in size, well, this will definitely attract more users who use low-end smartphones.
The Instagram Lite offers all the major features of the normal Instagram app, as the Lite version of the Instagram will allow you to post photos to feed or stories, watch stories, add filters, and also to Explore page. However, at this moment the app is not supporting to share videos or the service of Direct Messages. But we believe that the developers will include these features in future updates.
Having said that, the app is not currently available in India. It seems that the company testing the application in selected countries.
