Back in last year, the social networking giant Facebook introduced a new feature called ‘Watch Party’ and that will allow groups and pages to watch videos together and this help many pages and groups to attract more users by inviting users into the watch party of the trending or hot topic videos.
We also come across an article with suggested that the company is testing the similar feature on its Messenger platform as well, and now we got a new report that says Facebook’s sub-brand Instagram is now testing the Watch Party like feature and that will allow users to watch videos with friends.
Jane Manchun Wong, spotted the Watch Party like feature on Instagram and she says that this feature will be available in the Instagram Direct in video calls and the snapshots. She also said that users will able to watch videos together from a playlist or the ones suggested by Instagram.

Having said that, there is no official word about this feature and that’s why we cannot guarantee the availability of the Watch Party like feature on the Instagram platform. However, the company might be testing the feature with its internal team and if those satisfied with the feature then we can able to experience this feature on our smartphones.
As of now, we don’t have any other information about the developments but we are looking forward to hear more about the same and we will bring the latest updates at your fingertips.
