It is also revealed that the videos which will have a duration under 15 minutes then the same will be shared as reels. Instagram has officially announced that the video posts on Instagram under 15 minutes will be shared as Reels and the new change will happen in the coming weeks. It is worth mentioning that the videos which is prior to this change will be considered as videos instead of reels.
Apart from that, Instagram has also added more tools for Remix and now you can use remix public photos by choosing from different layouts including, a green screen, horizontal, or vertical split-screen to create reels. Instagram will also enable you to choose a picture-in-picture reaction view to add your own video commentary to existing reels.
Moreover, Instagram also features new templates and the same will enable you to create reels easy by preloading audio, clip placeholders, and adding photos or video clips. The same can we accessed by tapping the camera icon on the Reels tab. Instagram is also featuring an option to record dual video as well.
