The very popular social media application Instagram is not only popular for photo and video sharing platform as it is also offering a strong setup for communication as well. The developers of Instagram has recently introduced several new features including Instagram Notes, and the same will enable users to update their friends using just text and emoji.
Let’s start with the newly introduced Instagram Notes and the same will enable you to share short posts of up to 60 characters using just text and emojis. Well, that means now you can update about yourself on Instagram without sharing media.
If you are interested to share in notes then you need to go to the top of the inbox, select followers or people on the Close Friends list, and the note will appear at the top of your inbox for 24 hours. You can able to see the replies to your notes in the inbox.
Instagram is also rolling out new features to Stories and the same will offer new ways to share with groups and the new features also include the ability to add Yours nominations and this particular feature enables users to invite friends to participate in a prompt by tapping “pass it on” when they see a prompt that reminds them of that friend.
Candid Stories is another new implementation and you can able to add your friends to capture and share. Instagram is also bringing Group Profiles 15 the same will enable people to create and join a new type of profile to share posts and stories in a dedicated, shared profile with friends. Whenever content is shared to a Group Profile, that content will only be shared to group members.
Instagram has also introduced the Collaborative Collections feature and the same is a new setup that will enable you to connect with friends over their shared interests by saving posts to a collaborative collection in a group or 1:1 DMs.
You can able to start or add to a collaborative collection by saving a post directly from feed or sharing a post to a friend via DM and saving it.
